• Carols Around the Christmas Tree

Thanks to all who made Carols Around the Christmas Tree a big success.  The community attending, Notes from Torphins, Mid Deeside Church Praise Band, and the volunteers providing mulled wine and mince pies. 

• Learney Hall Refurbishment

TCC is excited to be working with Aberdeenshire Council to agree refurbishment work on Learney Hall planned for the 2024/25 to include kitchen, toilets, electrical and flooring works.  Going to tender soon.  We hope there will be an opportunity for local contractors who if not registered can go to: https://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/business/procurement/

• Hill of Fare Wind Farm Application

Following the Infrastructure Services Committee meeting on 3rd October 2024 the Aberdeenshire Council has resolved to OBJECT to the application by RES for a windfarm on Hill of Fare.

The application is now expected to go to a Public Enquiry, which is not likely to open for several months to a year.
