From Monday 21 August, the Council will operate a FREE minibus service between Lumphanan and Torphins to connect onto Stagecoach buses to Banchory/Aberdeen. We attach a copy of the timetable of this Monday to Friday service 212 which includes two journeys serving Torphins residents: 07:10 hours to Banchory, and 17:35 hours ex Banchory.

The times of this service duplicate the existing A2B dial-a-bus service times between Lumphanan and Torphins on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Aberdeenshire have therefore taken the decision to withdraw the A2B service and have written to A2B customers to advise them of these changes. The attached Deeside timetable provides details of the approximately hourly service operated by Stagecoach between Torphins and Banchory.

TCC believes maximising actual use of the new services is critical to endorse and maintain the services.
