  • Thursday 2nd May 2024 meeting of TCC will be at Tornaveen Hall at 7:30 pm.  All welcome as usual and we particularly encourage Tornaveen residents to attend.  Meeting includes an informative presentation by Jack Rigby, Digital Stakeholder Lead Officer, Aberdeenshire Council, on digital connectivity and broadband services across the TCC area.  Agenda

  • Hill of Fare Wind Farm Application

The period for Representations has now closed.

TCC and the five other community councils in the development area have all submitted objections.

The TCC Objection may be read here.

HoFWIG has submitted a particularly detailed and extensive analysis of their multiple reasons for objection.

Aberdeenshire Council, as the local authority Consultee, has a later date for submissions.  The application will be considered by the Area Committees of Marr, Garioch, and Kincardine and Mearns, before going to the Infrastructure Services Committee.  TCC has already filed a request to speak at the meeting of Marr Area Committee when the application is discussed.

  • Torphins and Lumphanan bus service improvement

From Monday 21 August, the Council will operate a FREE minibus service between Lumphanan and Torphins to connect onto Stagecoach buses to Banchory/Aberdeen. We attach a copy:
